- Applicant must complete the on-line membership application (see below)
- Applicant must submit at least one (preferably two) letter of recommendation from someone other than from a current member of the 100 in good financial standing.
- After the on-line membership application has been submitted, a member of the Membership Committee will contact the prospective member via a phone call, and then follow-up with written correspondence of available dates and times to participate in an interview. The Membership Committee will also provide the prospective member of the date(s) and time(s) for upcoming orientation sessions.
- Applicant must participate in an interview with one or more members of the Membership Committee.
- Applicant must complete and sign an authorization for the Membership Committee to conduct a criminal background investigation (see below). A $25.00 administrative fee is due and payable with the delivery of the authorization form. We recommend that applicants submit a completed authorization form prior to or during the interview process.
- Applicant must attend a membership orientation session. The date of the orientation session will be determined by the Membership Committee with the approval of the Executive Committee.
- After the completion of the interview before the Membership Committee and its receipt of satisfactory results from the criminal background investigation, the membership committee will make a recommendation to the Executive Committee for approval or non-approval of membership. As a general rule, membership decisions will be made at the monthly Executive Committee meeting, however, the Membership Committee may request the President to convene a special meeting of the Executive Committee for the purpose of making membership decisions.
- In the event that an application is approved for membership, the applicant must pay the applicable membership dues. If payment has not been received by the Treasurer within thirty (30) days after the membership application has been approved (or other arrangements have not been established with the Treasurer within such time period), the offer of membership will be rescinded.
New members will take the Membership Oath and receive their membership at a scheduled meeting of the members.
